Diese aktiviert betroffene Hirnareale bei Patienten nach Schlaganfall und begünstigt die Regeneration der Motorik und der Oberflächensensibilität. Ebenso beeinflusst sie die Rückbildung eines Neglekts und die Wahrnehmung von Schmerzen positiv. Ein großer Vorteil dieser Therapiemethode ist die einfache Umsetzung.
